How to Use Schema Markup to Boost Local Search Rankings

If you’re a local business owner, showing up on top of Google when people nearby search for your services is crucial. One powerful (and often ignored) tool that can help is Schema Markup.

Don’t worry—this isn’t some complicated tech thing. We’ll explain it in a simple way anyone can follow!

What is Schema Markup?

Schema markup is a piece of code that tells search engines more about your business—like your name, address, services, reviews, and opening hours.

When Google understands your business better, it can:
Show your business in map results
Add extra info like reviews or timings in your listing

Help you stand out in local searches
